Westbound on I-235, take East 6th Street exit to Des Moines Street, turn right. Turn right again on East 1st Street; continue under the highway underpass. The Botanical Center will be on the right after the overpass.

Roughly 15,000 plants, tropical, sub tropical and desert plants. 
The center is open all year around, Saturday thru Thursday, 10 am to 5 pm, and Friday 10 am to 9 pm. 
$4 for adults, $2 for Sr. Citizen's, $2 for children 6-17, and children under 6 are free.  Group rates are available.
