Americas largest display of model steamboats and keelboats at Sergeant Floyd Riverboat Museum in Sioux City, rare photos, artifacts and dioramas of river transportation.  


The mission of the Sergeant Floyd Diesel inspection ships for 50 years was light towing, survey, and inspection work on the inland waterways.
The vessel was named in memory of Sergeant Charles Floyd, the only fatality of Lewis and Clark journey.


The museum is open from 8 am to 6 pm thru September.  Admission Free 7 days.
