1850 Dutch Windmill moved to Iowa to grind flour.  You may climb inside to the top of the windmill and watch the stones grind the flour.  A canal is attached to the windmill area.  Dutch architecture.


The tulip festival is in May.
This is also the birth place of Wyatt Earp, historical village.
Admission is $7 for adults and covers 1 hour tour of 22 other buildings as well.

  
The windmill is open all year around 9 to 4 Mon thru Saturday, but closed on Sundays.  
Red Rock, Iowa's largest lake 4 miles from downtown, hike, bike, fish-camp.
