Picnic tables and fire grills throughout the park. 6,000 acre camping, hunting, horseback riding and winter sports.
640 acre lake.

Equestrian northern campground has showers 125 campsites, 50 with electrical hookups.
Equestrian new southern campground 105 camp sites, 70 with electrical hookups.

Fees are paid at the site.
Swimming, boating and fishing.
The creek, lake and Des Moines river are desirable with several boat ramps.

35 miles of multi use - trails. Hunting of pheasants, quail, deer and wild turkeys. Two shooting ranges are located in the park.
