Coral Ridge Mall's huge
old fashioned carousel just off the freeway at Coralville, is a great
place for a kid break and it is only $1.00 per ride. The carousel
features an array of interesting animals, bright lights, and a tall
ribbon top.
Each animal is unique and hand painted, which takes
around 100 hours per animal. Some of the animals featured on the Coral
Ridge carousel include: a giraffe, lion, deer, tiger, horse, goat,
zebra, cat, and rabbit. The sea dragon, an old classic character, is
very popular with children.
North side of the mall near the Food
Court.
Hours are Mon.-Sat. 10am to 9pm. Sunday 11am to
6pm. Open all hours the mall is open.
Mall also includes a children's museum and 10 movie theatres.
